Bad prep
ruins good
paint.

Blast and coat under one roof. Bring the equipment to our yard. We strip it down and seal it right.

The Basics

Prep decides whether paint lasts 2 years or 20.

Cut corners on the blast, and no coating system on earth will save you. Mill scale, rust, old paint, and contaminants all have to come off before new finish goes on. That's the whole job.

We run blast and coat under one roof. Same yard, same PM, same crew tracking the work from strip to seal. No coordinating between a blaster and a painter. No equipment sitting on a trailer between vendors.

Strip it right. Seal it once. Move on.

Three states

From rust to run-ready.

What equipment looks like at each stage.
Corroded pipeline before sandblasting
Before
Corroded

Mill scale, flash rust, old coating failing. Whatever shape it rolls in, we can work with it.

Worker sandblasting steel to bare metal
During
Blasted Clean

Abrasive blast strips it to bare metal. Anchor profile set. Flash rust prevented before primer hits.

What we handle

Blast and coat. On what rolls in.

Phase 01

Five-step process

How a job moves.

01

Scope

Send equipment dimensions and the service environment. We spec the coating system and quote against real numbers.

02

Intake

Equipment arrives at the Midland yard. We document condition, stage containment, and prep the blast area.

03

Blast

Media matched to the substrate. Anchor profile set to the coating spec. Contaminants stripped. No cutting corners here.

04

Prime

Primer applied inside the flash rust window. Dry film thickness verified before intermediate or topcoat.

05

Coat & Cure

Intermediate and topcoat to spec. Cured to manufacturer requirement. Equipment leaves ready for service.

Supporting Capability

Fab that backs up the job.

Welding and mods on equipment already in our yard for blast or paint. We don't take standalone rig welding or staff welders to other job sites.

Yes

What we do

  • Welding tied to sandblast and paint work in the yard
  • Modifications on equipment customers send in
  • Repairs during blast or cleaning downtime
  • Structural touch-ups on items being refinished
  • Coordinating with our plasma cut work
No

What we don't do

  • Standalone rig welding
  • Field stick welding on your site
  • Supplying welders to another company's crew
  • Scratch builds without other services attached
  • Pipeline welding and certified high-pressure work

We'd rather be great at four services than mediocre at five. If your job doesn't fit, we'll tell you on the call.

Why one yard

Stop juggling vendors.

The Old Way

Two vendors, two yards

  • Trailer to the blaster, wait, trailer to the painter
  • Flash rust sets in while equipment sits in transit
  • Blame games when coating fails
  • Two sets of paperwork, two invoices
The WTX Way

One yard, one PM

  • Equipment arrives, blast to coat without moving
  • Primer hits inside the flash rust window
  • One crew owns the outcome, from strip to seal
  • One PM, one invoice, one accountable team
